Little Everglades International Combined Driving Event Info is Here!

The Little Everglades Ranch is pleased to announce it will host the inaugural Little Everglades International Combined Driving Event from January 28 through 31, 2010. The four day event guarantees to be filled with action, testing teams of horses and their drivers in numerous events, including dressage, obstacles and the ever popular, heart stopping marathon course! Plan to come out to watch world class teams compete on our brand new beautiful and competitive course which test both horses and drivers. You will not be disappointed!

Mercedes-Benz Little Everglades Steeplechase is named the Best Attraction of 2008!

The smart folks over at Florida Monthly Magazine have named the Steeplechase as the Best Attraction of 2008. Here is what they had to say in a letter to the Steeplechase:

Dear Friends at the Little Everglades Steeplechase,

Earlier this year, we asked Florida Monthly magazine readers to nominate and vote their choices for the 2008 Best of Florida Awards. The votes have been counted and the winners in 130 categories have been named. The 13th Annual Best of Florida Award winners are featured in the September issue of Florida Monthly and will appear at www.floridamagazine.com for 12 months.

A Message from Ronde' Barber

Dear Race Fans,

Hello, I am Tampa Bay Buccaneer, Ronde' Barber and I am pleased to be the honorary chair for the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Little Everglades Steeplechase which is being held Sunday, March 8th at the Little Everglades Ranch. Please join me in the country with your family, guests, clients and employees. Enjoy the thundering beauty and power of some of the world’s finest steeplechase race horses. Plus, come experience other event activities like the Jack Russell Terrier races, Carriage Parade, the Hat Contest, the hours of fun in the Children’s Area and Party Pavilion. It’s entertainment for all ages.

This day of fun will generate much needed funds for many of our local charities. The proceeds from the Mercedes-Benz Little Everglades Steeplechase will benefit Diabetic Charitable Services, Pioneer Florida Museum and Village and Quantum Leap Farm, Inc.
