Little Everglades International Combined Driving Event
The Little Everglades Ranch is pleased to announce it will host the second annual Little Everglades International Combined Driving Event in February. The four day event guarantees to be filled with action, testing teams of horses and their drivers in numerous events, including dressage, obstacles and the ever popular, heart stopping marathon course! Plan to come out to watch world class teams compete on our beautiful and competitive course which will test both horses and drivers. You will not be disappointed!
General Information
Driving teams with carriages and horses or ponies in single, pairs, and 4 in hand classes will each compete in several stages.
- Presentation – throughout the weekend.
- Dressage – Thursday and Friday
- Cross Country Marathon – Saturday
- Cones Course – Sunday
- Trophies and/or Prizes will be awarded on Sunday, the 31st.
The Cross Country Marathon and other Saturday activities are by far the most exciting of the Driving Event for spectators:
- Jack Russell Terrier races – a favorite pastime at Little Everglades events.
- Souvenir & Equestrian Related Vendors
- Food & Beverage Vendors will also be available, but home packed picnics are certainly welcome. The Dade City Garden Club will be selling delectable box lunches for purchase in advance or at their “Taste of Dade City” booth
- Reserved Admission Areas are available
Schedule of Events
- 9AM, Thursday: FEI Dressage
- 9AM, Friday: Preliminary and Intermediate Dressage
- 9AM, Saturday: Cross Country Marathon
- 9AM, Sunday: Obstacle Competition
